The CD player features a TEAC mechanism designed specifically for audio reproduction, extracting as much information as possible from a playing disc. The quality tray load mechanism is coupled with a clear and intuitive user interface to make the Roma 14DC+ effortless in day-to-day use. The DAC section is then built around the high-quality Asahi Kasei AK4495S to handle perfect conversion for an accurate musical performance.
 
The Roma 14DC+ is made even more appealing by the addition of multiple inputs for other digital sources, allowing the CD player to function as a complete digital hub for your high-end system. With optical, coaxial, and USB inputs capable of handling high resolution conversion, now your digital sources can have one consistent sonic presentation regardless of what they are. The USB input is even capable of playing files up-to 32-bit / 384kHz PCM and DSD up to 5.6 Mhz to give you staggering sound quality that will mean you can listen to your audio the way it was intended. With one ECC88 tube per channel, this is a perfect match with the DAC’s output, obtaining a very low output impedance and extremely large bandwidth.
 
To back up this impressive technical ability, the Roma 14DC+ design has an oversized shielded power transformer to reduce interference and noise, giving you a clean and clear sound for the best possible listening experience. An array high grade metalized polypropylene capacitors are also used to control the audio signal circuits. Everything in this unit are then run by a multi-stage fully regulated power supply to make this fabulous unit as reliable and consistent as possible.
