The CS-6PH features hand-selected tubes for superior sound quality. It uses two 6922 valves from Electro Harmonix for MC amplification and two ECC83 valves from JJ Electronics for MM amplification, ensuring tight tolerance RIAA equalisation. The 12AT7 serves as the output stage, while two RCA 22DE4 tubes handle rectification to minimize power interference.
 
Conveniently located on the front panel, the gain switch allows adjustment from 40dB to 65dB, catering to both moving magnet and moving coil cartridges. The input impedance and capacitance are also adjustable, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of high-end MC cartridges.
 
The CS-6PH is designed with a low pass filter circuit to prevent low-frequency deflections, and it offers both balanced and unbalanced analogue outputs. With a bespoke EI power transformer and ultra-low noise voltage regulation circuit, it guarantees pure, stable power output.
